There are few times in my life I have been truly angry.

Coming home and seeing Namari cry is one. Seeing the bruises to her arms and knowing the cause was not a fall, a bump or childish silliness gone wrong. They were inflicted upon her by people with no right to raise even a voice to her.

I could not resist any longer and I went to speak with those people. I hope they understood my words well and they will never touch her again.

Now I must leave... It is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I do not wish to leave her side... I do not want to leave my family. I know I must.

Your neighbors are assholes and, if I were in your shoes, I would've hit somebody. >< People like that...just...GR.

I hope they listen to you. I hope they seriously think twice before laying a hand on any kid ever again. And teach your sis how to fight. I know you're not about violence, but for the sake of her self-defense.

I have massive respect for you for not doing it. I...am not so good at impulse-control. :p And, take it from someone who has hit people in anger before - It might feel good at first...but you'd regret it later anyway, so in the long run, it's not really worth it.

I'd teach Miyuki too....but she's got attitude enough that I bet she'd be a real scrapper, with or without formal teaching. She doesn't take crap from people, and that's just how she is, so I don't think she needs it.

Hitting them, while it would satisfy me in the short term, would do nothing for the long. It would bring me to their level. I will not stoop to their level to prove my point. I hope what I have done will be sufficient to keep her safe.

If she does, I will be more than happy to teach her alongside Namari.

She has asked us not to. Going to see them as I did was going against her wishes, but sitting and doing nothing went against my own.
