We have been in Germany for all of five minutes when I am told that we will be going to Amsterdam. I have to imagine that this trip is not as wholesome as it was made to sound to me.

However I will go. Someone needs to be there to watch over them all.

And I should be able to by my little sister something good from there.

The weather is indeed warmer here. And yet I am not happy to be here. There were far more interesting things to see and do in Russia. I did not see enough.

I am also disappointed in just how many of my teammates are budding alcoholics.

Hangovers are you're punishment for indulgence. Though few will learn your lessons.

It's nice to see Miyuki-chan about. However it makes me miss Namari-chan a little more. So much so I think I will call her sometime today.

I played a match with Kabaji-kun two days ago.

And I won my match yesterday. Thank you for practising with me, Kabaji-kun and Ryou-kun.

Right now I'm going to go and see Shiraishi-Buchou. We have a game of chess to finish.

The architecture of this city is fascinating. The cathedrals and museums I would visit many times. That, I am afraid to say, is the only good thing about Paris. I do not agree with... the promiscuous nature of this city, it's people, or the effect it is having upon my teammates.

My one and only experience in a gay bar has solidified that fact in my mind and will ensure I never visit another in my life time.

I did not appreciate the advances of what Shiraishi-kun delicately called 'bears'. Koharu-kun was not so delicate.

I am counting the minutes until we leave for England.

(ooc: Gin is straight... and was hit on by VERY big, beefy men... (and one little guy which was kinda cute~). All in all he was no amused with his outing!)

It's taken me until now to find something suitable for my sister. Two beautiful handmade dolls and some locally made beaded bracelets.

Just in time too. We fly again tomorrow to Paris, France.

I'll admit that, of all the countries we are to go to, I look forward to this country the least.

I've just returned from an expedition. I went to visit some temples and holy places. They are very peaceful here. A very religious people. I like it here.

I have also shipped a few things out to my sister, including some outfits I thought she would find interesting. The woman I spoke to was very enthusiastic. I can't work my camera, so I will have to show you another picture of what the dresses look like. here they are

She'll be pleased, I am sure.

Kabaji-san, your ankle, will you be well? I could come and see you tomorrow.

It was my birthday yesterday. I thank all those who wished me a good day.

I did, in fact, have a very good day. I had a call from my baby sister. We spent almost two hours talking. I have promised her many gifts from all the places we visit. So today, the gift's I have bought her so far, I mailed to her. The cost was expensive, but I wanted her to have them now.

I will continue to do this with each country rather than waiting till I return home in March. I hope she will like the gifts.

I have spent a long time thinking about the matches today. Yes, we won. But at what cost?

Two matches were won by default and that leaves me unsatisfied and troubled. My match should not have ended with an injury to the other team. That is not what strength should be used for. I know why it happened. I blame myself.

I hope the upcoming matches fare better. As I am once again debating the wisdom of continuing with this tournament.

I hope everyone has had a happy new year celebration and will all join in to welcome the year to come.

Today is the start of something new for everybody. Face it with open arms.

I have spent my own New Year at the temple, helping the monks with the coming patrons seeking to make their prayers and hoping for an answer from the gods.

And my work is not yet over. I will be busy now until the 3rd. Though I have been offered a break tomorrow for a short while.

The New Year is almost upon us. I'm looking forward to what it will bring.

It seems I am going to be relocated shortly. Strange, to be moving in the middle of the year. But it is what they want...

I will be closer to my brother.

But away from my home.
